Timmy H. Bellflower, 65, of Brinson, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 5, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Charles Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Kevin Bellflower, Chris Boyd, Greg Boyd, Shaun Earnest, John Parker and Robbie Parker serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church, 2932 Spring Creek Road, Brinson, GA 39825.
Mr. Bellflower was born April 19, 1948, in Bainbridge. He retired from the Georgia Factory For The Blind and was a member of Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church where he served as church clerk and as the Adult Sunday School Teacher. Mr. Bellflower was a volunteer fire fighter for the Kendrick Volunteer Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandy Harrell Bellflower, his father, Henry Mae Bellflower; and his brothers, Jimmy Bellflower and Edwin Bellflower.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Diane Boyd Bellflower of Brinson; his sons, Shane Bellflower and his wife, Lisa, of Atlanta, Ga., James Gilbourn of Brinson, Trent Bellflower and his wife, Julie, of Bainbridge, and Casey Bellflower and his wife, Brittany, of Brinson; his mother, Lena Bland Bellflower of Brinson; his sister, Annette Kruzich of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Madison Bellflower, Haley Bellflower, Hunter Bellflower, Brittany Gilbourn, and Noah Bellflower.
