Mr. Vernon Pickren of Colquitt, Ga., died Wednesday, May 29 at Miller County Hospital. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 1, at the Sheffield Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Harris and the Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment followed at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Colquitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
