Yeoma Wilson Elliott, 92, of Bainbridge, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Bainbridge Church of God, with the Rev. Jaime Rivera officiating. Interment will be at Mother’s Home Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery near Colquitt.

Mrs. Elliott was born April 12, 1921, in Colquitt, Ga., the daughter of Jack Wilson and Zillie Hatcher Wilson. She was a retired seamstress for Jack Winter Inc. and was a member of Bainbridge Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Troy Elliott, John Henry Brown, John Harbor Wells and Luther Strickland; and her siblings, Byron Wilson, Lois Glass, Ruth Herndon, Minnie Cross, Mary Wilson and Rosa Lee Wilson.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane Elliott Conger and her husband, James W. Conger Jr., of Bainbridge; her granddaughter, Ava Joy Conger of Athens, Ga.; her great-niece, Brenda Pollock and her husband, Marc, of Bainbridge; and several nieces and nephews.
