The Memorial Hospital Foundation will be holding its second annual “Derby Night,” this Friday at the Bainbridge State College’s Kirbo Center, from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

All the proceeds from the Derby Night event will benefit the Foundation’s mission to provide needed special equipment to the Memorial Hospital and Manor, and help to advance health care in our community.

The event is a fun time, featuring silent auctions and live auctions, as well as video horse races with “funny money” for bidding. There is also a ladies’ hat contest, where the wildest and most extravagant headwear will take the prize.
