Jonathan and Sharon Wacaser announce the engagement of their daughter, Leigh Ann Rowell of Bainbridge, to Cody Sapp, the son of Eddie and Jackie Sapp and of Randy and Christy Harrell, all of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Curtis and Norma Wacaser of Bainbridge, of Mack and Reditha Shaw of Waycross, Ga., and of the late Nancy C. Shaw.

She is a 2010 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is currently attending Bainbridge State College, pursuing a degree in business. She is employed as a teller at Family Bank.

Mr. Sapp is the grandson of Mary Sapp of Bainbridge, of Ray and Frances Whitehead, of Plantation, Fla., and the late Henry Sapp.
He is a 2011 graduate of Bainbridge High School and is currently attending Bainbridge State College, with plans to attend Albany State University in the fall to pursue a degree in biology.

The wedding is planned for May 17, 2013. A reception to celebrate the union is planned for that evening at the Firehouse Gallery at 6:30 p.m. Invitations have been sent.
