Mrs. Harrison was born on April 30, 1926, in Cairo, to the late Joseph Cliett and Carrie Williams Cliett. She married St. Elmo Harrison, who survives. Kathryn was a homemaker, a great cook and baker (everyone loved her little layer chocolate cakes). She loved to sew and tend to her vegetable garden. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face. The family sought out her wisdom whether it was sewing a dress, baking her famous cakes or having her tell us how she made her vegetables taste so good.
Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Carrie Cliett; son, Audry Wynn; daughter, Paula Harrison; sisters, Beatrice C. Singletary, Rosalee Cliett, Alma C. Harrell; brothers, Murray Cliett, Kator Cliett, Roscoe Cliett, and Milton Cliett.
Survivors include her husband, St. Elmo Harrison of Whigham; daughters, Faye Wynn Adams (Bill McDowell) of Cairo, Carla Harrison Nix (Wendell) of Bainbridge; son, Terry Harrison (Peggy) of Whigham; grandchildren and spouses, Mike and Rachael Adams of Whigham, Machael and Buddy Norman of Cairo, Ricky Adams of Whigham, Megan and Zach Hester of Whigham, Blair Nix of Bainbridge, Hannah Harrison of Whigham; great-grandchildren, Jamey Wight of Cairo, Lacey Hodges of McClenny, Fla., Colby Norman of Cairo, Emily Adams of Whigham, Kayleigh Hester of Whigham; sister, Geraldine Cliett Miller of Whigham; brother, Ray Cliett (Mary Frances) of Cairo; and a host of nieces and nephews.
