Funeral services for Kenneth McQueen Alexander, 58, were held Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at noon at First Missionary Baptist Church, in Thomasville, Ga., with the Rev. Jeremy G. Rich officiating.
Born Nov. 7, 1954, to Roy and Salome Alexander of Thomasville, Kenneth was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and received a master’s in sociology/criminal justice and social work from Valdosta State University. He worked at Georgia Pines Community Services and Thomas-Grady Service Center until his death.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father and mother.
Survivors include Joyce Powell, Carissa Powel-Kelly, Augustus Powell, Joseph Powell, Jerry Powell, Betty King and many friends and co-workers.
Guyton Brothers Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
