Thanks Coach Pilcher, for helping mold young men

Coach Ed Pilcher, who has been the head football coach at Bainbridge High School, resigned from his coaching position last Friday, bringing an end to his five-year career of leading the Bearcats.
Pilcher’s record at BHS was 30-23, but perhaps even more important was the role that he played in helping to mold the character of young men at Bainbridge High School. For many players, a coach can be one of few role models in their lives, and Pilcher did a good job of helping teach his players life lessons both on and off the field.
Pilcher and his coaching staff were also successful in helping several BHS players earn athletic scholarships to colleges and universities. Those degrees will serve these young men well as they advance through the rest of their adult lives.
We wish Pilcher good luck as he moves on to the next phase of his life, and thank him for his work with Bainbridge youth over the last five years.
