The first So-So Van Gogh and Vinnie Van Go-Gogh classes of the year are set for Jan. 31 and Feb. 7. Both classes will feature an art project involving several skills, from paint washes — for the background color — to mixing colors and using a palette knife to make your very own “artist’s palette.”

As with previous classes, the So-So Van Gogh class (for beginning artists)will be on the first Thursday class, Jan. 31, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Vinnie Van Go-Gogh class (for intermediate students) will be Feb. 7, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Students should be able to finish the project in the three hours allotted.

Each one-night class costs $35 to cover all supplies and snacks, and the classes fill up fast, so send in your registration form (available online at bainbridgefirehouse.blogspot.com), and your check, to:
