Are you in the market for a new job? The Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library has a plethora of resources to assist you in your job search. The popular Occupational Outlook Handbook, published by the U.S. Department of Labor, contains information on many different types of careers including education level needed and median pay.
Polish your resume with tips from books such as Step-by-Step Resumes: Build an Outstanding Resume in 10 Easy Steps!, by Evelyn Salvador, and Resumé Magic: Trade Secrets of a Professional Writer, by Susan Whitcomb. You can use the library’s public computers to search and apply for positions and prepare your resumé.
Once you have an interview, check out books, including The Everything Practice Interview Book, by Dawn Rosenberg McKay, and 101 Toughest Interview Questions and Answers That Win the Job, by Daniel Porot.

‘Toddler Tales’ resumes Jan. 8
Join us at the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m., for the return of Toddler Tales!
Your child will have a blast with storyteller Ms. Debbie with stories, songs, games, crafts, fun, and much more! Toddler Tales will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. and is a great way to introduce your child to the library and develop a love of reading.
