Mrs. Carolyn Amundsen, 75, of Albany, Ga., died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Sheffield Funeral Chapel, in Colquitt, Ga., with Rev. Calvin Arnold officiating.

Interment will follow at Primitive Union Cemetery, with Eric Blevins, Connor Blevins, Beau Blevins, Donnie Horne, Scott Grimsley and Buzz Grimsley serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Colquitt Funeral Home.

Mrs. Amundsen was a homemaker who loved to play bridge. She was an avid golfer and was a member of Radium Springs Country Club and Stonebridge Country Club.

Mrs. Amundsen was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Tassie Grimsley, and one brother, Larry Grimsley.

Mrs. Amundsen is survived by her husband, Carl Amundsen of Albany; one son, Randy (Karen) Amundsen of Leesburg, Ga.; one daughter, Candace (Todd) Blevins of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Ray Grimsley and Jerry Grimsley, both of Colquitt.
