Mr. John Robert Mock Sr., 75, of Bainbridge, and formerly of Donalsonville, Ga., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge.

Memorial services for Mr. Mock will be held on Friday, Nov. 16, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville with the Rev. David Grubbs officiating.

Mr. Mock was born in Decatur County on August 30, 1937 to the now late R.S. and Moree Braswell Mock. He was a farmer and worked for a number of years with Barber Fertilizer Company. Mr. Mock served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Mock is survived by his daughter, Kristy Mock of Bainbridge; a son, Bob Mock and his wife Joye of Donalsonville; two brothers, Spencer Mock and Dennis Mock and his wife Carolyn, all of Bainbridge; and a sister, Sara Mock of Bainbridge. He is also survived by a grandson, Robert Mock of Blakely, Ga., as well as several nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Mr. Mock was preceded in death by his parents, R.S. and Moree Braswell Mock; a sister, Fleeta Williams; and a son, Jim Mock.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial contributions be made in Mr. Mock’s name to Gentiva Hospice, 432 E. Shotwell St., Bainbridge, GA 39817.

Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
