Decatur County

On Oct. 21, Sgt. Rick Sellars conducted a patrol on Silver Lake WMA and cited two subjects for hunting deer on a closed WMA.

On Oct. 27, Sellars, RFC Tony Cox, and Ranger Jace Heard conducted patrols on Silver Lake WMA, citing three subjects for hunting deer on a closed WMA.

Sellars also conducted a foot patrol on Lake Seminole WMA and cited two subjects for transporting loaded firearms in a vehicle on a WMA.

On October 30th, RFC Cox and Ranger Heard conducted a patrol on Silver Lake WMA, citing a subject for hunting big game on a closed WMA. The area was only open for small game hunting at the time.

 

Thomas County

On October 21st, RFC Jon Penuel and Corporal Mike Binion were patrolling in the southern part of the county when they located several subjects hunting doves over bait.

Each of the hunters was cited for the violation.
