• Bizaare Bazaar: Creative Gifts by Imaginative Eclectics, Firehouse Gallery, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (continues Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.)

• Second St. James M.B. Church, 1912 S. Potter St., will have a Harvest Rally at 11 a.m. with Rev. Henry L. Flowers III as guest speaker.

• Holiday Open House shopping event, Downtown Bainbridge, 1 p.m. (over 100 Christmas prize balls will be dropped in Willis Park at 2 p.m.)

• Bainbridge Bazaar 2012 – Creative Gifts Handmade by Imaginative Eclectics, Firehouse Gallery and Center, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Wednesday, Nov. 21

• St. Paul M.B. Church, located on Hwy. 27 Colquitt Hwy. will observe the church and pastor anniversary nightly at 7 :30 p.m. Wed. thru Friday; and at 11 a.m. on Sunday, the 25th, with Faith Life Ministries, Mt. Nebo and Smith Grove churches as guests.

First African Baptist Church, located at 115 Church St., West Bainbridge, will hold its Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Walter Pittman, pastor of New Whites Spring M.B. Church of Cairo delivering the message.

Sunday, Nov. 25

Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church, located at 1810 S. West Street, will observe Harvest Rally and Old Fashion Day at 11:15 a.m. Dress in old time clothes. Dinner will be served.

St. Thomas M.B. Church, located at 198 Edwards Road, Fowlstown, will celebrate their annual usher’s anniversary at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Verlon Robinson and St. Paul M.B. Church of Albany in charge of the service. Dinner will be served.

 

Thursday Nov. 29

• Opening Night for the Bainbridge Little Theatre’s production of the comedy “The Dixie Swim Club”

 

Friday, Nov. 30

• Bainbridge Health and Rehab, located at 1155 W. College St., will host a Revival Dinner for residents and guests from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring spiritual entertainment of praise dancers, gospel comedians, music and words of inspiration. Meal tickets for $2 are available for guests and can be purchased at the facility up until noon Nov. 26.

 

Saturday, Dec. 1

• Chosen Messengers of Donalsonville will celebrate their 19th anniversary at 6:30 p.m. at the Lions Hall on South Wiley Ave., featuring groups from Ga., Fla. and Ala. Special guest is Evangelist Roxanne Broadnax and New Directions from Atlanta. Admission is free. Concessions will be available.

 

Saturday, Dec. 15

• New Zion M.B. Church, located at 556 Lincoln Drive, Chattahoochee, Fla., will host its annual Gospel Extravaganza at 6 p.m. Groups, soloists, praise teams etc. are invited to participate. Sunday, Dec. 16

• The Bainbridge Community Band will perform a Christmas concert at the Kirbo Center on the Bainbridge College campus, at 3 p.m.
