The funeral service for Clara Jean Pollock Josey, 73, will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at Delwood Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Hall and Rev. Lindsay Gay officiating and will conclude at the church. Interment will be at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Al Josey, Brian Josey, Wade Josey, Jimmy Pollock, Treavor Pollock, and Tyler Pollock serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 prior to the service at Delwood Baptist Church.

Mrs. Josey was born Dec. 22, 1938 in Bainbridge, the daughter of Leon Franklin Pollock and Maggie Bell Dean Pollock. She died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. She was a retired manager for Pacific Bell Telephone Company, a former Miss Decatur County, and a member of Delwood Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Josey; and her brother, Leon Franklin “Cuz” Pollock, Jr.

Survivors include her sons, Al Josey of Costa Mesa, Calif., Brian Josey and his wife, LuAnne, of Garden Grove, Calif., and Wade Josey of Escondido, Calif.; her daughters, Kay Josey Wilson and her husband, Brian, of Corona, Calif. and Linda Josey of Long Beach, Calif.; her brother, William H. Pollock and his wife, Becky, of Bainbridge; and her grandchildren, Brianna Josey, Walker Josey, Kristen Wilson, Kevin Josey, Garrett Wilson, and Alex Josey.
