For many years, the women of St. John’s Episcopal Church have held an event in mid-November where they sell homemade baked goods, canned and preserved jams and jellies, frozen foods and handmade crafts and articles.

Through the years the event has been called a bazaar, then a festival. This year it is the “Holiday Country Store,” and it will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It will feature many of the items people have come to love through the years. There will also be hand-knit sweaters, hats and scarves created by the women of the knitting group that meet regularly at the church.
