Johnny Wayne Pippins, 55, of Bainbridge, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ken Davidson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Bijon Anvar, Johnny Anvar, Joshua Ryan Pippins, Joseph Rangel, Donnie Spooner and Greg Wynn serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Ivey Funeral Home, prior to the funeral service.
Mr. Pippins was born Oct. 25, 1957, in Bainbridge. He was a painter and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dellwood Pippins Sr.; his mother, Opal Lee Clinton Pippins Larson; and his brother, Charles Pippins.
Survivors include his daughter, Mandy Pippins and her fiancé, Jonathan Criswell, of Thomasville, Ga.; his sons, Michael Pippins of Thomasville, and Lucas Phillips of Seminole County, Ga.; his brothers, Dell Pippins Jr. and his wife, Mary Lou, of Bainbridge, and Ralph Randall Pippins of Bainbridge; his sisters, Lujane Brackin and her husband, Tim, of Brinson, Beverly Castanon and her husband, Jesus, of Donalsonville, Ga., Barbara Adams and her husband, Paul Adams Jr., of Bainbridge; his stepfather, Gary Larson of Bainbridge; and his four grandchildren.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
