Art King and Sandra King, both of Attapulgus, announce the engagement of their daughter, Peaches Cooper, to Tyree Sullivan, the son of Linda Pitts and Jerry Sullivan, both of Orlando, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Beatrice Richardson and the late Ulysses Richardson Sr. of Attapulgus.

Ms. Cooper is a 2002 graduate of Bainbridge High School, and a graduate of Columbia Southern University with a degree in psychology. She is employed as a protocol officer with the Department of the U.S. Air Force.

The groom-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Haines City (Fla.) High School, and of Florida State University with a degree in criminology. He is employed by the Department of the Navy, in Washington, D.C.

The wedding will take place at Lake Presidential Golf Course in Upper Marlboro, Md., with a reception to follow at a later date in Tallahassee, Fla. The couple plans to reside in southern Maryland.
