The Afterschool Art Program, offered at the Firehouse Gallery, still has openings for children in second grade through fifth grade. The six week course runs on Thursdays each week, on the following dates: Sept. 27, Oct. 4 and Oct. 11, and Nov. 1, 8 and 15.

Each Thursday class will run from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and costs $90 for instruction and all supplies.

Possible classes offered may include: painting with watercolors and acrylics, printing, beading, weaving, mosaics, drawing, pottery, seasonal crafts, plastic carving, wire sculpture, tie-dye shirts, paint-on shirts, photography and finger weaving.

To sign up, fill out the Afterschool Student Registration Form (located online at the Firehouse blog — bainbridgefirehouse.blogspot.com) and mail it in with full payment to:
