I simply couldn’t pass up the opportunity to congratulate Pilgram Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Pastor Mark Wilkerson, Mrs. Effie Montgomery and her committee, and all of the members for such a wonderful 73rd church anniversary gala.

The speaker, California U.S. congresswoman Maxine Waters was dynamic. It seems that you have a pastor that listens, is caring and is a pastor to all of his members. So, hopefuly good things will continue to happen at Pilgram Rest.

Again, congratulations. Also, thank you to Mrs. Sylvia Perry for our “table of eight.” We had an enjoyable evening.
