Monday, Sept. 3 is the annual Labor Day holiday.

All state, federal and local government offices will be closed for the holiday. Many local financial institutions, the U.S. Postal Service and Decatur County Schools will also be closed on Monday.

Bainbridge College and the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library will also be closed.

All non-emergency Decatur County government offices will be closed. The Decatur County Solid Waste Facility on U.S. Highway 27 South will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Labor Day and then resume normal operating hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

 

City of Bainbridge

All non-emergency City of Bainbridge offices will be closed. The holiday will affect trash pick up. If your normal pick up day is Monday, your trash will be picked up on Tuesday, Sept. 4. If Tuesday is your regular day, your trash will be picked up on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
