Pilots earn district posts

BAINBRIDGE'S GAIL SHARBER was recently installed as governor for the Georgia District, Pilot International

Two Bainbridge Pilot Club members were recently installed as Georgia District officers at the district convention, held at the Marriott Atlanta Gwinett Place in Duluth, Ga.

Gail Sharber was installed as governor for the Georgia District, Pilot International and Mary Gibson was installed as the Georgia District secretary at the installation banquet.

The theme of the installation banquet was “Pouring Friendship and Service.”
Other Pilot Club members from Bainbridge who attended the convention were Catherine Catledge, Emily Yent, Virginia Smith, Emma Wacasser, Karon Elwell, Carolyn Thompson and Lisa Jarrell.

Sharber will be installed to the Board of Directors of Pilot International later in the month at the Pilot International Annual Leadership Conference in Las Vegas, Nev.

Pilot International is a global organization of approximately 25,000 adult and youth members who are working together to improve the quality of life in local communities and throughout the world. Pilot’s service focus is helping people affected by brain-related disorders and disabilities through volunteer activities, projects, and fundraisers.
