Robert E. Pair, 63, of Crestview, Fla. passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla.
Robert was born May 15, 1949, in Pensacola, to J.B Pair and Doris Phillips Pair.

He loved fishing and spending time outdoors and had a deep love for his dog, Bear and cat, Socks. He graduated from Choctawhatchee High School, attended Okaloosa-Walton Junior College and Jacksonville State University. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, J. B. Pair, and his brother Jay B. Pair Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Hannelore Pair; mother, Doris Phillips Grimsley, stepfather, John U. Grimsley Jr. of Bainbridge; two sisters, Carol Jones of Crestview, Fla., Becky Frazier and husband Bill Frazier of Shalimar, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held at Mirror Lake in Crestview.

Memorial gifts may be sent to the Scleroderma Research Foundation, Covenant Hospice in Pensacola, Fla., or the Okaloosa County Humane Society.
