Seamless Summer Meal Program starting soon

This summer, the Decatur County Schools will be able to offer free lunches to area children through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s “Seamless Summer Option for Children” program.
The program offers meals for all children ages 1-18 in the qualifying area. Sites in Decatur County are as follows:
Bainbridge Middle School — 1301 E. College St., from June 4 through June 29. Breakfast is 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and lunch is noon to 1 p.m.
Bainbridge High School — One Bearcat Blvd., from June 4 through June 28. Lunch only, from noon to 1 p.m.
Friendship House of Jesus — 220 N. Russ St., from June 4 through July 26. Lunch only, at 12:30 p.m.
