Caleb Lewis, a third grader in Ms. Angela Leon’s class at Jones-Wheat Elementary School, took his plant in a cup home around February, and it has since grown into a large cabbage. Caleb, with the help of his grandfather, grew the cabbage. His cabbage is around 5.5 pounds.  It was wider than both of them standing side by side. Each year, Bonnie Plants sends third graders mega cabbage plants to take home and grow.
