The Decatur County Board of Education, in conjunction with the Decatur County Association of Educators and the Georgia Association of Educators, will recognize school system retirees with a banquet held in their honor. This year, there are 25 retirees, representing employees from every area.

The banquet will be held Tuesday, May 1, at 7 p.m., in the Bainbridge Bearcat Café at Bainbridge High School. The guest speaker will be Dr. Fred H. Rayfield, superintendent of Decatur County Schools.
