The funeral service for Mary Lou Johnson Wilson, 74, of Bainbridge, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21 at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Brooks and the Rev. Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Steve Jones, Ted Martin, Sam Jones, Chris Kelley, Brad Kelley and Johnny Wacaser serving as active pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at Ivey Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 2861 Spring Creek Road, Brinson, GA 39825.
Mrs. Wilson was born May 11, 1937 in Bainbridge. She died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1954 and worked for ITT Lighting and retired from Thomas and Betts. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Woman’s Missionary Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur M. Wilson; her parents, Norman Odell Johnson and Marie Boling Johnson Bledsoe; and her sister, Frances Johnson.
Survivors include her son, Kinney Wilson and his wife, Beth, of Loganville, GA; her daughter, Cindy Kelley and her husband, Stuart, of Bainbridge; her brother, Raymond Johnson and his wife, Judy, of Lake City, Ga.; and her grandchildren, Brittany Kelley Kale and her husband, Al, Kyle Kelley, and Kelsey Kelley, all of Bainbridge.
Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
