Mr. Ricky Carter Williams, Sr., 52, of Donalsonville, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 16, 2012, at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville with Pastor Charlie Buckhaulter officiating.

Ricky Carter Williams was born Aug. 11, 1959 in Colquitt, Ga., to Bill Williams and JoAnn Glass Williams. Before illness struck, he worked as a diesel mechanic. Ricky married Bonnie Floyd. They were together almost 10 years.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Williams and JoAnn Williams Odom.

Ricky Carter Williams Sr. is survived by his wife, Bonnie Williams of Donalsonville; children, Charlie Buckhaulter and wife, Melissa, of Thomasville, Ga., Brittany Williams of Brinson, Ricky Williams Jr. of Brinson, Steven Luther of Iron City, Ga., and Jessica Luther of Iron City; sisters, Billie Ann Thursby of Brinson, Sandra Engle of Charleston, S.C., and Tjuana Williams of Donalsonville; brother, Bill C. Williams of Bainbridge, Georgia; grandchildren, Greg, Orion, and Madison Buckhaulter, Dailin Engle, Salem Luther and Faith Forbes; faithful companions, Red and Darlin.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
