Mr. and Mrs. William (Bubba) Jones of Fowlstown announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Jessica Jones to Kenneth Agustin Perez, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pedro Perez of Perth Amboy, N.J.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Jones of Donalsonville, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Johnson of Fowlstown, the late Mrs. Wilma Jones and the late Mr. Jessie Perry Spooner

Miss Jones was an honor graduate from Bainbridge High School in 2005. She received an Associate of Arts in Science from Bainbridge College in 2008, a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Valdosta State University in 2010 and an Associate of Arts in Health and Physical Education from Bainbridge College in 2011. She is currently attending Darton College in Albany pursuing an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant, scheduled to graduate December 2012.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. Alejandro Jiminez of the Dominican Republic and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marino Perez and the late Mrs. Marie Rodriguez.

Mr. Perez is a 2002 graduate of Perth Amboy High School, served in the US Air Force from 2003 to 2007, was stationed at Moody Air Force Base and served one tour in Baghdad, Iraq.

He is a 2010 graduate from Valdosta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and is currently attending New York University College of Nursing in New York, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He is scheduled to graduate in May, 2012.

The wedding is planned for May 5 at 3 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Bainbridge, with the reception taking place in the church fellowship hall.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and reception.
