CrimeStoppers holding information session Tuesday

Ever feel like there is something more that you could do to protect your property? Wondered how you might be better able to protect the ones you love? The Southwest Georgia Housing Task Force will host a session about tools you may need to accomplish lower crime in your community on Tuesday, March 13, at 10 a.m. at the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Public Library, 301 S. Monroe St. in Bainbridge.

Jason Thornhill, board member from Albany CrimeStoppers, and a representative from the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, will be on hand to provide information regarding useful tools in the community to fight crime. Albany CrimeStoppers is a non-profit community action program that operates on the information given by anonymous citizens. The goal of the program is to collect tips that wil result in solving crimes and assisting in arrests.
