The funeral service for Doyle Keith Hilton, 50, of Bainbridge, will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Matthews officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Mark Bishop, Russell Boyd, John Bennett, Morris Nichols, Jimmy Fowler, and Paul Bennett serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, at Bethany Baptist Church, prior to the funeral service.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 101 West Water Street, Bainbridge, GA 39817.

Mr. Hilton was born Nov. 28, 1961, in Bainbridge. He died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at his residence. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1979, served in the U.S. Navy, was an electrician, and attended Bethany Baptist Church. He was an avid bodybuilder, fisherman and chef.

Survivors include his son, Bennett James Hilton of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, Mahri Lynn Hilton of Orlando, Fla.; his step daughter, Jamie Lynn Ellisor and her husband, Joe, of Jacksonville, Fla.; his parents, James Fiveash Hilton and Carolyn Bennett Hilton of Bainbridge; and his two step-grandchildren.
