The Mt. Pleasant Community Volunteer Fire Department, located north of Bainbridge off Vada Road on Deese Road, will hold its annual barbecue fund raiser on Saturday, March 3, serving barbecue pork plates at the department. Serving begins at 11 a.m. and runs to 1 p.m. Cost is $6.50. Tickets are being sold for $1 for a drawing on a 12-gauge Stoeger 3500 automatic shotgun, a Vizio 32-inch LCD HDTV, and a $200 Visa gift card. There will also be door prizes.
