Jesse Brock, 82, of Waverly, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at his residence.

A visitation at Ivey Funeral Home will be held beginning at 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012. Interment will follow at the Brock Cemetery near Bainbridge.

Mr. Brock was born May 2, 1929, in Bainbridge to the late G. T. Brock and Mary Anna Dollar Brock. He moved to Waverly in 1952. He was a self-employed residential carpenter and a member of the Waverly Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening and farming.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dorothy A. Brock of Waverly; his daughter, Delores White and her husband, Larry, of Waverly; his son, Dennis Brock of Winter Haven, Fla.; his three grandchildren and his six great-grandchildren.
