Sherri Dollar of Bainbridge, and Kenneth McLendon of Donalsonville, Ga., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendyl McLendon, to Dustin Peak, son of Donald and Sheila Peak of Climax.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of David and Lula McLendon of Iron City, Ga., and Betty Davis of Bainbridge.

Miss McLendon graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2008 and is currently a student at Valdosta State University majoring in sociology.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Judy Webb of Leesburg, Ga., and Ray and Louise Peak of Climax.

He graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2008 and is a student at Valdosta State University studying criminal justice.

The wedding is planned for March 24 at 5 p.m. at Gin Creek Plantation, near Hartsfield, Ga., where the reception will follow. Invitations will be sent.
