Tim and Lujane Brackin of Brinson announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Brackin, to Jared Fiveash, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Fiveash of Donalsonville, Ga.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dell Wood Pippins Sr. and the late Opal Larson Pippins, from Bainbridge, and of Mr. Wyatt Brackin of Brinson, and the late Mrs. Grace Brackin.

Miss Brackin graduated from Seminole County High School in 2005 and is employed at Donalsonville Hospital.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. Marvin and Mrs. Betty Tucker, and of Mr. Bob and Mrs. Jeanette Fiveash, all of Donalsonville.

He is a 1999 graduate of Seminole County High School and is the owner of Jared Fiveash Farms.

The wedding is planned for April 14 at 6 p.m. at Spring Hill Tree Farms, with a reception to follow.
