The memorial service for Russell L. “Rusty” Andrews, 42, of Climax, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Davidson and Mike Albritton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Ivey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 12502 Pine Drive, Tampa, FL 33612.

“Possum” was born Aug. 16, 1969 in Quincy, Fla. He died Monday, Feb. 6, 2012. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1987. He was a ground delivery man with Federal Express in the Wakulla County territory. He was a Christian who lived a Christian life every day.

He was preceded in death by his father, Horace Lee Andrews.

Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Toka Potter Andrews of Climax; his daughter, Shanna Wimberly of Crestview, Fla.; his sons, Anthony Hall of Climax, and T. J. Andrews of Climax; his mother, Susie Mae Josey Andrews of Climax; his brothers, Ricky Andrews of Pompano Beach, Fla. and Robert Andrews of Climax; his sisters, Tina Andrews of Havana, Fla. and Kim Bonner of Climax; his grandson, Colton Whitehead of Crestview; and many nieces and nephews.
