Following a lengthy illness, Mr. Bobby Dale Avery passed away Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Ga.

Private family services will be held, with interment in Brock Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Buford, Harold and Varnell Avery; and sisters, Autice Avery, Grace Boutwell, and Nettie Ruth Parish.

Bobby Dale Avery was born May 10, 1943, in Decatur County, to William (Bill) and Effie Mae Clenney Avery. Mr. Avery is survived by his sisters, Faye Cox of Pelham, Ga., and Joyce Brooks of Albany, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
