• First Baptist Church of Bainbridge — The church, located at 401 E. Shotwell Street, will begin revival services Sunday morning, Jan. 29, with Rev. Troy Fripp as guest speaker and Rev. Bennie Boggus as guest music minister. Services will be at 8:30 and 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the 29th and each evening beginning at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. A daytime brown bag luncheon devotional will be at 12:15 in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
• Immanuel Baptist Church — The church, located on U.S. Highway 84 West, will host the Lighthouse Children’s Home choir on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 11 a.m. A covered dish meal will be served after the morning worship.
• Mt. Zuma M.B. Church — The church, located at 2015 Vada Road, will have a Fifth Sunday Gospel Sing on Jan. 29, at 4 p.m. featuring The Amazing Harmony Four, The Spiritual Aires, Rev. Mark Dudley and the Soul Gospelettes and Willie Jackson and the Sensational Gospel Singers.
• First Christian Church — The church, located at 908 S. Scott St., will hold a Fifth Sunday Sing on Jan. 29, beginning at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited to come hear The Parish Family bring the Gospel in song.
• Rejoice Ministry — The church, located at 1240 Scott St. in Bainbridge, is selling Boston butts and ribs at $25 and $20 respectively, as a fundraiser for missions. Contact Garrett Inlow at (229) 426-8885 to purchase tickets. Pre-orders, as well as extras can be picked up Feb. 4 between 3 and 5 p.m. at the church.
• Harvest America & Beyond Ministries — The church, located at 1610 Old Quincy Rd., will host the Women of Purpose Conference on Feb. 3 and 4. Theme will be “Women Walking in Kingdom Authority.” Hours are 7 p.m. on Feb. 3 and 10 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 4. Speakers will be Stephanie Chason of Bainbridge and Robin Shockley of Greenville, S.C.
• Pine Hill M.B. Church — The church, located at 1048 Pine Hill Church Road, will celebrate Men and Women Day on Sunday, Feb. 5, with services beginning at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Tomorris Baulkman and the Mt. Nebo M.B. Church will be in charge of the services.
• Morning Star Freewill Baptist Church — The church, located at White Bridge and Twilight Road in Miller County, will celebrate Black History on Feb. 12 at 11:15 a.m. with Sister Etosha Salter, an educator, motivational and spiritual speaker, as the presenter.
• Liberty in Jesus Christian Center — The church, located at 1108 Butler Ferry Road, will host the Holy Convocation 2012 of Hidden Treasures Apostolic Alliance on March 7-11 at 7 p.m. nightly. Featured participants will be Apostle Sharon Seay Eiland of Nashville, Tenn., Apostle Curley Walthour, Apostle Erica B. Jackson, Overseer Sonya Norris, Overseer William Bullard, Pastor Gairreus Williams and Minister Terrance Pinkney.
• First United Pentecostal Church — The church, located at 115 Jennifer Drive in Bainbridge, will host the Honeysuckle Gospel Festival on March 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to various Gospel groups and singers, the day will feature many family oriented activities, including bounce house, dunking booth and face painting; arts and crafts vendors, festival food. From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. the church will sell homemade breakfast biscuits with coffee for $2, and BBQ plates for $8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
