Bainbridge College students were welcomed back with a bash Tuesday and Wednesday.

Assistant Dean of Student Life Sam Mayhew said 360 students requested information on the more than 24 clubs that had tables and representatives lined up outside the Student Wellness Center on the main campus Tuesday. Also served up for the students were hot dog plates, giveaways and music.

On Wednesday in Blakely, Ga., the Welcome Back Bash continued when 117 students requested information on the various clubs. The Bainbridge College Early County Chorus performed three songs, and pizza was on the menu at the Blakely event.

Terryl Cooper, a second-year student from Cairo, Ga., was interested in the BC Student Ambassadors and the Rotaract.

“It’s very impressive. I’ve learned some about Bainbridge College I didn’t know,” Cooper said Tuesday.

BC STUDENT Brandon Robinson of Climax sings a rap song during the bash. The lyrics of one of his songs are “Bainbridge, you know what my name is; Learning from the old school so I can make new changes.”
