• Lord’s Lighthouse Church — The church, located on U.S. Highway 84, Climax, will bring in the New Year with a celebration of praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, beginning at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31.

• Morris Temple Community First Born Church of the Living God — The church, located at 300 Poplar Ave., Bainbridge, will also hold a Watch Night Service on Dec. 31, beginning at 10 p.m.

• St. Paul M.B. Church — The church, located on U.S. Highway 84 East, will have a New Year’s Day service on Jan. 1, 2012, at 10 a.m. There will not be a watch night service on New Year’s Eve.

• Second Elizabeth Church and Stewart Temple Church — The churches will hold the annual Watch Night Service beginning at 10 p.m. Dec. 31 at Second Elizabeth Church, located at 2718 Attapulgus Highway, Quincy. Breakfast will be served.

• New Life Deliverance Ministries Inc. — The church, located at 115 Lynnwood Drive, will have an Old Year Out New Year Service, beginning at 10 p.m. on Dec. 31. For information and/or transportation, call (229) 243-0075.  

• Mt. Nebo M.B. Church — The church, located on Lake Douglas Road, will hold a Watch Night on Dec. 31, beginning at 10 p.m.

• Pine Hill M.B. Church — The church, located at 1048 Pine Hill Church Road, will celebrate Pastor John Malone Jr.’s second anniversary on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Albert Williams of Dothan as guest speaker.
