The graveside funeral service for Wilfred J. (Will) Royal, 81, of Bainbridge will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011, at Oak City Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Stapleton officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service.

Will was born July 1, 1930 in Kingsland, Ga., the son of Binion Royal and Winnie Lott Royal. He died Dec. 25, 2011, at his residence. He was a graduate of Kingsland High School and the University of Florida. He was a retired forester from the Georgia Forestry Commission and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Shirley Royal of Bainbridge; his son, Richard J. Gordon of Tallahassee, Fla.; his daughters, Deborah Gordon Bobroskie of Tallahassee, Dawn Gordon Easom of Tallahassee; and three grandchildren, Edwin Collette, Joe Bobroskie and Tim Bobroskie.
