A memorial service in honor of Mrs. Ida Mae Robinson Morrisett will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chuck Bostick will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 6 p.m.

Ida Mae Robinson was born June 9, 1953, in Donalsonville, Ga., to Brantley and Thelma Boyette Robinson. She died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at her home in Bainbridge.

She was proud to work as a nurse. Before her illness, she worked at Seminole County Hospital. Ida Mae loved doing crafts. She could take any junk and make something wonderful. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help. Her family says she didn’t know the meaning of the word, “no.”

Ida Mae Morrisett is survived by her husband, Jeff Morrisett; her daughter, Chasity Sapp and husband, Sammy; grandchildren, Ciara and Samantha Sapp; brother, Rodger Robinson and wife, Carla, all of Bainbridge; step-children, Emory Morrisett of Colquitt, Ga., and Timmy Morrisett, serving in the Coast Guard, stationed in South Carolina; nieces, Teresa Pippins and her children Joshua, Austin and Seth, Lisa Morris and her children, Toby Alday and Megan Bettis; nephews, Tony Morris and wife, Ronda, and Curtis Robinson of McDonough, Ga.; and aunt Evon Martin of Winter Haven, Fla.

Cox-Ware Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
