Are you going to the Christmas parade on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011? During the parade, you will notice the Southwest Georgia Regional Library System’s Bookmobile.
The Bookmobile serves Decatur, Miller, and Seminole counties. The Bookmobile makes several stops throughout Decatur County. You can visit the Bookmobile at Selman Place Apartments on the third Monday of each month from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. or at Parker Park in Climax on the second Wednesday of each month from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The Bookmobile offers a wide selection of books, DVDs, and much more. Please call the library at (229) 248-2665 for a complete list of Bookmobile stops throughout Decatur County.
Here’s a great gift idea!
Are you beginning to make a list of all the gifts you need to buy this year? Instead of facing the holiday crowds, donate a book in honor of that special someone.
You can give the Decatur County – Gilbert H. Gragg Library a new book or send a check so the library can order the item. This is a wonderful gift idea for that hard-to-buy person in your life.
Each book will have a special bookplate inserted recognizing your loved one. This year, give the gift that the entire community can enjoy!
