Feed My Lambs

Join Chris Smith, author of the children’s book Feed My Lambs: Alphabet Scripture Songs, at the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 5:30 p.m. Children attending the program will learn some of her songs. Her book and CD will be available for sale and signing during the event.

Smith is a pastor’s wife, the mother of three daughters, and enjoys singing, songwriting, and writing about her travels abroad. Smith has a master’s degree in foreign language education through the Auburn University Study Abroad Program. Her studies and sojourn with a French family inspired her to write France Insolite: Spiritual Journeys in France. Teaching languages has helped her to make many multi-cultural friendships partnering her with mission trips in Mexico, Martinique, Haiti, and France.

Smith has also served as an interpreter for the deaf and as a teacher of Special Friends Sunday School class with her Down’s syndrome daughter, Carey Beth. She has directed children, youth and adult choirs, summer music camps and community-wide musicals.

Her love for sharing Christ through music has led her to produce three albums: Feed My Lambs Alphabet Scripture Songs, for young children; Power in the Pages, a gospel album; Trinity Treasures: Redeemer, a contemporary Christian album; and three singles: “God is Our Refuge and Strength,” “I Can Do All Things” and “Spinnin’ Ginny.”

Please call the Decatur County-Gilbert H. Gragg Library at (229) 248-2665 for more information about this event.
