Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Miller Jr. of Iron City, are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Lynn of Thomasville to Matthew Alexander Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Thompson, Jr. of Ochlocknee. The couple is planning an April 2012 wedding.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald W. Brock of Vada and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Miller, Sr. of Iron City. Stephanie is a 2010 graduate of Mercer University in Atlanta where she received a Masters in Medical Science. She also graduated in 2006 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro where she received a BS in Chemistry. She is presently employed with South Georgia Surgical Associates in Thomasville as a Physicians Assistant.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mack Riddle, Sr. of Thomasville and Mr. and Mrs. John Wayland Thompson, Sr. of Ochlocknee. Mat is a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS in Agri-Business. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. He is employed with Thompson Farms and the owner and operator of Mat Thompson Farms in Ochlocknee.
