Bob and Nora Day of Bainbridge announce the engagement of their daughter Dana Day to Jason Pollock of Bainbridge.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Leroy and Annie Kirkland and the late A.W. and Rucell Day.

Miss Day is a 1997 graduate of Bainbridge High School and graduated from Albany State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is employed by the Decatur County Board of Education.

The groom to be is the son of Debbie and Dennis Smith and Larry Pollock, all of Bainbridge. He is the grandson of the late Carroll Singleton and Margie Singleton, and of Leo and Rena Mae Pollock.

Mr. Pollock graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1996 and is employed with Labor Finders, Inc. of Thomasville.

The wedding is set for Dec. 23, at 3 p.m. at Forsyth Park in Savannah. A reception will be held when the couple returns to reside  in Thomasville.
