A memorial service for Horace Patterson, 58, of Albany, Ga., was held Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Young Memorial Chapel at Bruton Mortuary with Minister Letha Jackson officiating.

Mr. Patterson was born Nov. 5, 1952, in Louisville, Ga., and died Oct. 10, 2011, in Albany.

He was retired from Florida Power and Light and was a chief maintenance engineer for Days Inn.

Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his parents, Acey and Ruby Mae Patterson.

He is survived by his wife, Ogiretia Reina Patterson; one son, Andre Patterson; one grandchild; two sisters, Earline Davis and Annie Rogers, both of Miami, Fla.; one brother, Bobby Jenkins of  North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
