• New Harvest Ministries Inc.—The church, located 411 Donalson St., Bainbridge, will conclude the annual Grand Fellowship Assemble Oct. 29 and 30 featuring a Saturday morning workshop and ordination service at 10 a.m. Ministries and Elder night-Oct. 29 at 7. Meeting closes Oct. 30 with 11:15 a.m. services.
• Immanuel Baptist Church—The church, located at 2133 Dothan Road, will have a Fall Festival on Oct. 29 beginning at 3 p.m. The theme will be H.I.S., (harvesting in souls). There will be games, food, fun and fellowship ending with a hayride.
• Climax Baptist Church—The church, located at 204 W. Lee St., Climax, will hold a Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Admission is a canned food item for the food pantry.
• Celebration Baptist Church—The church, located at 3039 Faceville Hwy. (97 S) will have a 5th Sunday Sing on Oct. 30. Morning worship is at 11 a.m., lunch at 12:15 p.m. and singing from 1:15 to 3:30 p.m., with “The Faithful Servants” from Tifton as musical guests.
• Mt. Zuma M.B. Church—The church, located at 2015 Vada Road, will be the site of a Fifth Sunday Gospel Sing on Sunday, Oct. 30, beginning at 5 p.m., featuring The Amazing Harmony Four and The Spiritual Aires, both of Bainbridge and The Alabama Gospel Singers and the Gospel Travelers, both from Dothan.
• Climax Baptist Church—The church, located at 204 W. Lee St., Climax, will host “Living Water” on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m.
• First United Methodist Church—The Keenagers of the church will meet Nov. 2 for their Thanksgiving meeting. Seniors are invited to join in the food and fellowship. Meeting is at noon in the JO Smith Building. Lunch is $4. Call 246-1864 for reservations.
• Lifestream Church—The church, located at 1301 S. West St., will begin a bible study beginning Wednesday, Nov. 2, each Wednesday through Dec. 14, (with Nov. 23 off for Thanksgiving). The study will be based on the book “Not a Fan,” by Kyle Idleman, a Louisville, Ky. pastor. Contact Elisa Sellars, 243-9833 for more information.
• New Home Free Will Baptist Church—The church, located near Vada will have the annual Old Fashion Day on Sunday, Nov. 6, with preaching beginning at 11 a.m., followed by dinner. The Willing Servants begin singing at 1:30 p.m.
• Salem M.B. Church—The church, located at 451 Old Faceville Hwy., will have its 2nd Annual Harvest Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Booth rentals available. Contact Gloria Clark at 220-5722 or Johnne Mae Livingston at 246-0270.
• Second St. James M.B. Church—The church, located at 1912 S. Potter St., will have a program on Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. in honor of Rev. Edmond and his wife Daisy Howard for their commitment and dedication to their church. Guest speaker will be Rev. Cleveland Sanders. The church senior choir will observe Harvey’s Day on Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. with music by the Mt. Nebo Church Choir.
• Southwest Baptist Church—The church, located at 1101 Faceville Hwy., will present a Thanksgiving Drama on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m., entitled “I Can Only Imagine.”
• Mt. Nebo M.B. Church—The church, located on Lake Douglas Road, will have a special Thanksgiving service on Nov. 24 at 12 noon, with Rev. Eric Gordon of Lawrenceville, Ga. as guest speaker. Dinner will be served.
• Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church—The church, located at 1810 S. West St., will have a Harvest Rally Old Fashion Day on Nov. 27 at 11:15 a.m. On this day the congregation dresses in old-time overalls and bonnets. Dinner will be served.
