Louise Oates Harrison, 85, of Climax, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.
The funeral service was held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Thad Marshall and Pastor Steve Poppell officiating. Interment followed at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Randall Jones, Jerry Jones, Tommy Marshall, Kevin Harrison, Guy Crawford and Tom Johnson serving as active pallbearers.
Mrs. Harrison was born June 20, 1926, in Cairo, Ga., the daughter of Thomas Little Oates and Eva Mae Connell Oates. She was a graduate of Cairo High School, worked as a sales clerk for Reeves Juvenile Shop for more than 18 years, and was a member of Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband, Angus M. Harrison and her great-grandson, Chase Wynn.
Survivors include her daughter, Pat Wynn and her husband, Maurice, of Climax; and her grandchildren, Christopher M. and Dana Wynn and their two children, Miranda and Marissa, and Bryan M. and Jessica Wynn and their child, Tynlee.
