Funeral services for Reginald “Rex” Anderson, 31, of Bainbridge, were held Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Second St. James M.B. Church with Pastor Jacquelyn Porter officiating. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery with Gregory Aiken Jr., Edward Aldridge, Robert Freeman, Anthony Hicks, Jarvis Salter and John Ware acting as pallbearers.

Mr. Anderson was born July 11, 1980, in Bainbridge, the third of four children born to the late J.C. and Dollie Anderson. He died Sept. 28, 2011, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was educated in the Decatur County Schools and had a passion for life, love and fun connected with his family and friends. He attended New Life Ministries and other local churches. He was employed by Cee Dan Dee.

He is survived by sons, Reginald Anderson Jr., JaQuarius and Jason Anderson; daughters Rosheeka Anderson and Inobe Thomas; siblings Willie Anderson of Jacksonville, Fla., Derrick Anderson Sr. of Bainbridge and Sharon Anderson of Eastman, Ga.; and a host of other family and friends.

Bruton Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
